Despite our best efforts, patio umbrellas can become dirty. Fortunately, they aren’t too hard to clean. Here are some tips on how to clean patio umbrellas.
• Open the umbrella and see if you can remove the fabric, as this is going to make it easier to clean.
• Make a solution out of mild soap and water in a bucket. Soap used for washing dishes works well.
• Wet the umbrella.
• Wipe hard surfaces, such as the pole, with a rag that’s been put in the solution.
• Dip a brush in the soapy water and use it to clean the parts of the fabric that are dirty.
• Rinse the umbrella and let it dry before storing it.
